PRINT, POWER & PLAY with MODULACT is a showcase of our 3D-printed Hoberman sphere that spins overhead & illuminates Dome 9 at the Festival.

Created in partnership with Croatia’s Metalska Jezgra & Spain’s Open Lug Factory for the ModulAct project, it is part of AfroBanana’s drive towards zero waste.

The project is guided by the principles of the New European Bauhaus, seeking to inspiring festivalgoers & international festival organisers to imagine & build new worlds.

Together we examine the potential, challenges & limitations of using technologies like 3D printing to come up with innovative solutions that utilise renewable energy in our lives.

Be inspired by the power of technology & our minds’ ability to put it to good use at Dome 9, on Thursday 4 & Friday 5 July.
