THE BUDOS BAND are kickstarting their European tour with us here on our Bigger Stage at AfroBanana.

This nine-member genre-defying group whose sound has been described “as if Quentin Tarantino was the music supervisor for a Bond film”, has played with some of the biggest acts on the scene from Charles Bradley to Amy Winehouse, gaining super-loyal fans from Iggy Pop to Madonna.

High praise has been written in long columns celebrating their music but their own advice is, instead of analysing it, we should just try ‘to feel it all at once’.
