SONICA is a synth-centered group that combines nu-jazz with vocabulary from ambient, electronica & funk.

Seasoned musicians, their debut album Introducing Sonica, which was released in 2022, reveals a somewhat experimental mood with a synth-drum record that is keen to draw you in.

Two keyboardists face each other on stage building on each other’s ideas - their powerful raw energy comes to life with their interplay colouring the music with contrasting soloing styles.

So we have Christos Yerolatsitis & Andreas Panteli on keys, interjected by Stelios Xydias on drums, as they join forces with saxophonist Marios Charalampous for a special appearance at AfroBanana.
