NIXXIE aka Nikos Iatrou splits his time between Mykonos, Athens & world travels. As the founder of the Maera Music label, NIXXIE has carved a niche with his unique sound. He is the resident DJ at popular venues like Alemagou in Mykonos, Surf Lessons in Tinos, and both Stoa and Bear in Athens.

His repertoire is vast, ranging from deep house & deep tech, to tech house & pure techno. You can always sense his love for hip-hop, soul, even rock & metal, having spent years in artist management for bands like Iron Maiden & Guns n Roses. His signature move is to provide groove, be it light or dark.

His own music reflects his deep knowledge of the scene from his successful debut, Sophia, to his most recent collaboration, Two Girls, with british jazz musician Greg Foat.
