LARRY GUS FT SOFRONIS (GR) (LIVE)

THURSDAY - 4TH OF JULY

B-MAN IN SPACE

Panagiotis Melidis is the creative force behind LARRY GUS (a playful twist on the Greek word for larynx), who has been electrifying the music scene since 2006.
With a foundation in sound and music computing, his work is a thrilling clash of intricate sample-based constructions and psychedelic pop melodies, weaving together dense layers and mesmerizing polyrhythms. His background adds a unique technical edge to his music. His debut on DFA Records, ""Years Not Living,"" showcases this innovative approach, drawing inspiration from the algorithmic constraints of Georges Perec's novel ""Life: A User’s Manual.""
Famed for his high-energy, chaotic live shows that fuse vocals, drums, and electronics with a touch of self-deprecating humor.
Always pushing boundaries, Larry Gus collaborates with choreographers, filmmakers, architects, and playwrights, making every performance an unmissable experience.
This summer we are hosting a very special collaboration with our very own SOFRONIS. A multi-disciplinarian himself, a published literary author with a background in neuroscience, who likes to play with seemingly dissimilar sounds on the decks, seeking to explore and stretch the limits of the danceable madness he creates.

Their mutual admiration and enthusiasm for each other’s work is set to fuse two unpredictable worlds into a captivating set.

Witness the magic on our B-Man in Space stage on Thursday 4 July.
